Alhaji Muri Omi Urges Makinde, Oyo CP To Call On A Self-acclaimed ‘Honourable’ To Pay His N4m

The Senatorial Chairman of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) in Oyo State, Alhaji Muritala Adekola Ifawale popularly known as (E le Omo Buruku Danu) has called on the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, Speaker of the House of Assembly, Debo Ogundoyin and Commissioner of Police, Adebola Hamzat, to as a matter of urgency call on a self-acclaimed ‘Honourable’ (name withheld), who February this year defrauded him of N4 million.
According to him, “the said ‘Honourable’ who is living at Oke Odan in Apete, Ido local government area of the state told him his an Honourable in the Oyo State House of Assembly. As a result, I didn’t doubt his credibility.
“He also introduced himself to me as a travel agent which I believed him. Upon the situation of the country, I paid him N4 million to help me process travelling.
“I started suspecting that he has duped me he wasn’t picking up my calls again. I tried every possible best to reach him through different sources but all to no avail.
“Just recently, I was surprised when he started sending me messages that he’s in Abuja. I told him to refund my money but he’s always procrastinating it saying he is going to give me.
“At this juncture, I am appealing to Gov Seyi Makinde, all PDP and APC leaders to quickly wade into the matter because when I take actions now, people will be saying Alhaji Muri has come again not knowing it’s the self-acclaimed honourable that’s at fault.
“Wherever he is, he should come out to pay me my money. He’s feeding his family while I don’t have money to feed mine because he defrauded me. Am begging now. If he doesn’t want me to take any drastic action against him, he should just pay me my money.
“There’s a saying that to before warned is to before harmed, and this is why am calling on all the people that is related to this self-acclaimed ‘Honourable’.
“I am not ready to arrest him at all but deal with him in my own way. Arresting him will amount to adjourning the court case for years. Am not ready for that and that’s why am voicing out now to let the whole world know before they will say Alhaji Muri Omi has come again o.
